Gilmer is a fresh, geometric, sans-serif font family inspired by iconic typefaces like Futura and Avant Garde. Gilmer has a considerable x-height value, geometrical letterforms, sharp edges, and minimal stroke contrast, similar to the neo-grotesque fonts from the 20th century. The typeface is versatile and can be successfully used in magazines, posters, branding, websites, etc.*
Where Gilmer Font works best
Interfaces and dashboards
Gilmer Font keeps its shape at 14 and 16 pixels, which is where interface text actually lives. Numbers and capitals stay distinguishable in tables.
Decks and internal documents
Presentations are read at a distance; a clean sans with a strong bold is the safest hierarchy you can build in a hurry.
Signage and wayfinding
Simple letterforms survive angles, glare and movement, so Gilmer Font suits door signs, menus boards and exhibition panels.
