Elegant and prickly; smooth and sharp; beautiful, but evil – Stervella – display typeface. Its serifs resemble the twisting branches and thorny thorns of a blackthorn, trying to prick neighboring letters. This font is inspired by the forms of ancient Uncial, combining antique with pointed gothic writing.
Where Stervella Font works best
Thumbnails and covers
Stervella Font is built to be recognised small. Three words, high contrast, and it survives being scaled to a phone screen.
Event and match posters
Display letters at full width make a date and a name readable across a room, which is all a poster has to do.
Merch and streetwear
Heavy display shapes print cleanly on fabric and stay legible when the garment moves.
Is Stervella Font really free?

- Download the ZIP and extract it (double-click on Mac, right-click → Extract on Windows).
