ABOUT BISTRO
Bistro Sans & Serif is a hand crafted font that’s inspired by the chill vibes of your local cafe. It’s full of those hand-written imperfections that make your designs come to life! The three weights can be enhanced with a bi-color interior, fill, line, or slant to give your design that vintage or quirky feel. To do so, simply superimpose the two fonts: the weight above, the interior below. This sans serif is perfect for invitations, wedding elements, typography, and prints.
INCLUDES
This package comes with two style fonts (sans & serif). That’s right, I won’t make you pay for them separately like a tool! Each comes in three weights and includes three fill options (fill, slant, or line). Each of these come in an OTF, TTF, and Webfont file and may be used for personal or commercial uses! This font family includes 26 capitals, 26 lowercase, a plethora of punctuation, and OVER 50 BONUS glyphs including language support characters in upper and lower case.
BONUS
This package also includes OVER 50 vector drawings and catchwords to help round out your designs. Coffee cups, banners, wreaths and so much more! These come in .ai, .eps, and .psd files.
Where Bistro Font works best
Long reads that need authority
Reports, white papers and book interiors hold the eye longer when the text face has real serifs; Bistro Font keeps that rhythm without looking old-fashioned.
Packaging with a heritage story
Food, spirits and cosmetics brands lean on serif wordmarks to suggest age and care. Bistro Font gives that signal at wordmark size.
Certificates and formal documents
Set Bistro Font for the body of an award or a diploma and keep the recipient name in a script; the pairing is what makes a document feel official.
Is Bistro Font really free?
The download costs nothing and needs no account. What you may do with the font afterwards is set by its author: the license file travels inside the archive, and it is the only document that decides whether a commercial project is covered.
How do I install it on Windows or a Mac?
Three steps, no extra software:
- Download the ZIP and extract it (double-click on Mac, right-click → Extract on Windows).
- Open the .ttf or .otf file and click Install / Install Font.
- Restart the app you want to use it in — the font is now available system-wide.
What kind of work does Bistro Font suit?
It sits in the Serif Fonts group and reads as food, handwritten, playful, sans serif. That makes it a candidate wherever those qualities help: headings, packaging, social graphics and brand work. Set it at the size you plan to use before deciding.
